This one makes a lot of sense on a specific function contributing its form.
Compare this one with Compact http://www.deviantart.com/deviation.php? id=65775 , that skin makes no sense of its goal - compacting the interface.
In a long run, skin acting as an Interface changer is more important than acting as a change as a decoration of the appearance.
Many architecture in the world are great because of its functionality, not its appearance.
